Lavender Sour

If you like lavender, this will probably become your new go-to.

Bright, herbal, and refreshing — perfect for summer, but so loved it makes a comeback year-round.

1 oz lavender simple syrup
0.75 oz lemon
2 oz gin

Pour all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Serve in a coupe with a sprig of lavender as garnish.

A note on the gin
Empress gin is highly recommended for this cocktail, a little pricey but well worth it. Alternatively, use a more neutral flavoured gin like Beefeater or Gordon’s.
